How about the fact that she became a Republican after Trump’s first election?—and not-so: Davison has led the way on some initiatives that have proved to be quite controversial, including punitive crackdowns on drug use and sex work, but can’t point to measurable results, such as fewer people using fentanyl in public or a reduction in sex trafficking—the ostensible reason for reintroducing the city’s “prostitution loitering” law.
